is there a supplier selling the short part of the front axle with bendix joints, the outer spline which goes to the wheel are a little worn while the ones going to the differential are good.I could split at the foint and replace that spline instead of changing the complete axle

:) I think that the bendix parts may be hard to come by. If they are not too worn I might just go with them as they are. Unless you plan on really hard use for your jeep.

You could try these guys though.

would a rzeppa axle fit in place of a bendix. The bendix joint looks to be very tough and it's too bad that the outer spline gets worn because of the water and mud that comes in contact with it.

davey, the first thing i will do is buy a new set of spline flange , there the one that are mostly worn out because it is made of mild steel as oppose to harder steel for the axles ,and when i get them i'll see how much they take of the slack there is right now, If it is not much better then i'll have to shop for some axles.
