Hi all,
Well, I had a problem with the update that I performed this past week. Actually, the update went very smoothly. The problem is a glitch in the MySQL datatbase. To make a long story short, I adjusted the permissions of one of the AWA Member's in order to let them access the Member's Only section. There is a link you can press to "test this user's permissions".
Long story short...instead of testing their permissions, it deleted me as an admin of our own board, and did not allow me to get back into here at all. My index page didn't even show any of the forums that you all could see, let alone allow me to get at the spammers who were in the Wanted section.
Soooooo.....I had to reinstall the whole board. Everyone is going to have to re-register - there is no way around that.
We have also completely lost all the information that was contained on this board. As it was a fairly new board, there is no real big loss, but it's still a loss at that. Please feel free to post as much as you want to help us recover any information that might have been lost.
I believe that I have reorganized the board "behind the scenes" in such a way that we can avoid this problem in the future. My sincere apologies, and hopefully everyone will help to get us all back on track. We have received some good exposure from the incredible CJ3B site, and hopefully in time we will not only regain our stature as Western Canada's premiere Willys site, but also improve from what we had.
